Fela’s album cover artist Ghariokwu Lemi picked out this back cover of Johnny Just Drop (JJD) for the first printing of these Limited Edition 2×2 posters; only 100 in existence, they are printed on fade-resistant gloss paper and come with a download code for the JJD album.

This back cover was Lemi’s original design for the JJD album cover. However, Fela, not wanting to focus his criticism of JJD’s – western educated elites coming back from abroad – on the youth of the country, asked for a re-drawing of the cover to depict an older character who was rejecting traditional African ways and imitating the colonial masters.
