GARY LUCAS announces CMJ performances, US debut of “Dracula” Project

Gary Lucas is back in the US and will be doing a few shows throughout the month of October before he heads back to the UK, the Czech Republic and Cuba. Yup, that Cuba.

His Gods and Monsters project(Featuring Gary Lucas on guitars, vocals
Ernie Brooks (Modern Lovers, Arthur’s Landing) on bass and vocals, Billy Ficca (Television) on drums, Jason Candler (Hungry March Band) on sax, Joe Hendel (Faddy Acids) on Trombone and Keyboards) will be playing at the Bowery Poetry Club on October 23 and he will also be playing with Jim Staley at Roulette during the CMJ Marathon. In more recent performing news, Lucas will be debuting his score to the silent Spanish version of Dracula at the Walter Reed Theater. It was one of the Village Voice’s picks for the weekend, which you can check out right HERE
